Hanging basket jewelry holder

I've been needing to clear up space on our bathroom counter tops. I have a jewelry tree but that has been filled now for ages. I decided to make a hanging jewelry basket for all those extra pieces that need a home. With a little spray paint and chain this project took no time at all.

Supplies:
2 (or 3) baskets of different size
Spray paint
Necklace chain
4 jump rings
A hooked screw
Measuring tape

Step 1: Begin by spray painting your baskets. Do at least 2 coats.

Step 2: Measure the amount of chain you would like to use. Mine was 22 inches.

Step 3: With your largest basket, mark the midway point to attach your jump rings. Do the same on the other basket.

Step 4: Connect the open ends of your chain to the jump rings on the large basket first. Now measure the distance you would like between your bottom and top basket. Mine was about 2.5 inches. Connect the chain to the top basket at the distance you measures.

Step 5: I screwed my hook into the underside of one of my upper bathroom cabinets.

All that's left to do is hang up your basket and begin filling it with your jewelry.

Happy crafting!
